2. Approval of Minutes
   1. Meeting minutes from June 2025 need to be amended with Mrs. Shirley Terry name being left off for attending. Mrs. Shirley Terry 1st motion to amend and accept changes to business. Ebonee Shaw 2nd motion to amend and accept changes to minutes.
3. Old Business
   1. Discussion of members showing up to events late, not in uniform for mandatory events, same people cleaning up at events, and people leaving early for events.
      How many events shall a person be a no show?
      Lack of communication is an issue.
   2. Tracie Anthony is our new Treasurer for the Betterment Committee due to Jean Holmes being appointed to Councilwoman for Ward 1. Congratulations to Jean Holmes!!!
   3. Fiscal budget 2025-2026 was announced for our committee.
4. New Business
   1. Jobs of members to work Oldie But Goodie Dance. Be at Civic Center at 7pm SHARP TO SET UP! You only get the number of seats per table for the amount of tickets you sold. NO EXCEPTIONS! This is the reason you are to be there at 7pm to choose your table.
      
      • Committee Members can dress up for the theme of the party or wear your Berkeley Betterment Committee shirt. It’s your choice for the dance.
      • Please do not forget your donated bottle of alcohol or beer or wine for the big gift basket to be raffled off.
      • All gifts have been ordered for the raffle table and the big-ticket raffle.
      • Need input on how much the big-ticket item raffle tickets will be. This will be a different colored ticket for this prize.
      
   2. Clarifying new suggested time for Toy Give-A-Way on Sat, Dec 20, 2025 to now be 12pm to 2pm.
   3. Are we keeping Turkey Give-A-Way time or changing it also to 12pm to 2pm.
      Discussing how many turkeys/Cornish hens/Turkey Breast we are going to purchase. The gentleman that donated the fresh herbs and the gourd bird feeders will donate us the same items this year also.
