The event was a success, with 50 turkeys purchased by Tracy Cole and distributed to residents by our committee. Thanks to the Berkeley Fire Department for helping us unload the vehicles, they placed turkeys in the coolers, broke down the boxes, and took the trash out with them!
Additional items included gourd birdfeeders with birdseed, candy for children, fresh vegetables, herbs (sage, thyme, and rosemary), and Danish cookies for the first 20 attendees.
Ron Brown from the 504 Ferguson Garden donated fresh vegetables, herbs, and birdfeeders.
Recipient names, along with their childrens names and ages, were collected for the upcoming toy giveaway on December 21, 2024.
