Term: April 2024 - April 2028

Honorable Willie Mae Anthony was appointed, by the City Council on June 17, 2019, as Councilwoman to represent Ward 4 for the unexpired term. She was elected June 2, 2020 for her first 4-year term and reelected April 2024. 

Councilwoman Anthony has been married to Leo Anthony for 45+ years. Through this union, there are four living children and one deceased child, fifteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchild. They have resided in the City of Berkeley for 34+ years. She has been a member of the Community Church of God for 34+ years. 

Councilwoman Anthony is an author of 3 children books.
